Yo Dirt Runners! You’ll be receiving your information packets in the mail any day now (as long as you signed up before 1/29/10)! Check out this link for some of the info you will receive in your info packet. If you sign up the week of 2/1/10 we’ll continue to mail out info packets each day you sign up….until 2/8/10. If you sign up on or after 2/8/10 you can pick up your info packets when you pick up your bib, shirt & timing tags at packet pickup. See you in the Swamp!

• Where: Pasco County, Withlacoochie River Park, Dade City, Florida

• Race Instructions:
  
• Directions: 301 runs through Dade City, about half way through town, head east on River Rd. 5 Miles, follow County Park signs. Turn right on Auton Rd. then left into the park. Continue straight into park, right on Big Ma’s Way to Dirt Quarters.
• Ultra Start: 50 Mile 5:30am.(13 hour cut off) It will be dark! Bring a headlamp/flashlight
  50K 7:00am, sunrise 7:15 AM, you might want to bring a light!
  
• Check-In: Ultra runners must check in Friday night or Saturday morning, before the start. Number bibs & last minute information will be handed out. Friday Check-in is from 4-8 PM. Saturday-race day opens at 4:30 AM. Try to make the Friday Check-in!
• Daily Park Pass: No park pass required to run in DWD Green Swamp. Support, be prepared to assist the volunteers while you hang around. Please obey the parking signs and volunteers, even if they seem irrational!
• Parking: Handlers must park in designated areas.
• Dirt Numbers: All runners must wear race number visible on the front. Ultra numbers will be different than relay teams.

• Awards & Refreshments: Awards, food and refreshments at the finish area 2 PM – 6 PM.
• Ultra Awards: Top 5 in each 5-year age group for each event presented immediately when you finish.
• Aid Stations: Ultra aid stations will be stocked with water, gatorade, assorted gu packets, PB & J, boiled potatos, salt, chips, coke, peanuts, oreos, bananas, oranges, candy....BUT if there is something you want that you simply cannot take another step without, you should make sure you bring it yourself! just in case an aid station has, well, run out! We do our best to overstock, but every year, there seems to be a different popular item, and there's just no accounting what it will be this year!
